This video was produced for Nataschia Wielink Photography. All of the fun details can be found here: http://www.nataschiawielink.com/blog/entry/david_caissie_destination_feature
This was a stylized wedding shoot themed after the Three Musketeers. I shot the behind the scenes and the photos were published on Wedluxe.com and featured here: http://bit.ly/HPxpT4
I captured this TD sales conference and edited it over night to be played on the final morning of the conference.
This project was created for Mimosa Flower Studio, taking a glimpse behind the curtain of an Anthropologie inspired 'non-weddingy' wedding.
A wedding perfect for these two... chuck and robert were married at white oaks resort in niagara-on-the-lake and planned a great celebration for friends and family. This film was produced for nwphotoblog.com
Matt and Lindsey travelled from Washington DC for destination wedding in Niagara-on-the-lake. Friends and Family gathered at Chateau Des Charmes Winery to celebrate these two! Enjoy the film! This film was produced for nwphotoblog.com
I was invited to capture the "Diner en Blanc" flash-mob event in Niagara-on-the-Lake on August 11, 2011. This was edited that night/morning and sent off to CBC to make their 7am deadline for the National news broadcast. Even though only 30sec of it were shown, it was still worth it! :)
This film was produced for nwphotoblog.com. Special thanks to Dave Tebbutt for stepping in while I was out of town to film this!
This project was created to give the Walker Family Cancer Clinic supporters and inside look at the construction progress. This shoot was run and gun style and we shot everything in one take as quickly as possible.
This was filmed this past fall for Nataschia Wielink Photography.
DISCLAIMER: There are shots of an open casket that may be uncomfortable for some viewers. This was a tough one to edit. First off, I have never been asked to produce a funeral film and secondly because it was for family.
"Trash the Dress" Sessions - another exciting venture between Allure Hair and Makeup and JFHannigan Photography.
Jessica from Allure and Nataschia from NWP team up to offer "a spa like boutique studio experience where you will enjoy a two hour session complete with personalized hair and make, followed by beautiful keepsake photography."
When Natashcia and I first sat down to discuss this project, it was evident this was not going to be a typical promo film. While we knew there would be an interview piece as the back bone, the rest of the imagery and concepts were envisioned as the project was underway. View this video on Vimeo to see the full credits.
"In September we spent three days producing a suite of five different 'scenes' to inspire and excite you about all the dreamy possibilities for your wedding ... we're over the moon to finally be able to share them with you!" - Mimosa Flower Studio
Inspired by "Light Works" vimeo.com/18158884, this is an experiment of altering the shape of lens bokeh. All the lighting effects were done in-camera and no post work was done.... except for the desaturation.
When ALLURE Hair and Makeup threw the idea for this shoot past me and was instantly sold. Initially, they were looking for a behind the scenes video to create hype for the release or the photos. However, once the footage was capture and sorted, it was evident that we had to do more with it. Enjoy!
I had the opportunity to attend the Vintage Hotels Wedding Show this past weekend and grabbed some footage of the day. After starting the day with my tripod and slider locked in my car, I ended up having to shoot with a photo head.... argh! Needless to say most of my tilts were a bit hurting.

Josh first approached me with the idea of producing a short promo to help assist in getting solo gigs while living in Australia for a few months. This was shot during the NAMM 2011 conference in the Hilton's parking garage. In true Josh fashion, we decided 15 minutes before the shoot where we were going to film it, found some shade, plugged in and pressed record.
This video was created as a favour for a friend at Henley Honda and submitted to an Ontario Honda Dealers competition. It won both the regional and overall competition! It was shot and edited in one evening and submitted the next morning.

A random late night idea turned into this commercial. It started as a generic "Keeping up with the Joneses" theme, but as Ralph and I dug into it a bit, it became evident that it had to be a commercial for Sharpie.... they just have no idea about it.
This one of two videos created to showcase a new "out of box" railing solution by Norwood Stairs and Railings.
The Handmade Market is a travelling boutique shopping experience that promotes the handmade arts, local artisans and a ‘small-box’ sweat-shop-free atmosphere. Taking place twice annually (Spring + Summer), you might find The Market at different locations throughout Niagara! http://www.handmademarket.ca
I was contracted by Celebrate Niagara (celebrateniagara.ca) to capture candid shots at their conference over the first two days and edit a highlights video for playback in the morning of the third day. Filming in dark lit restaurants was tough. While I would have loved to use the 70-200 2.8 as much as possible because of it's distance, I had to use my Zeiss 50 1.4 and get in people's faces. By the end of the second day, people had just about enough of my camera being in their face!
These shots were compiled from a few shoots in local Vineyards in the fall of 2010. Found enough shots to make something of them!
Today was too nice to stay indoors. Ethan and I headed over to the Short Hills park and did a bit of exploring.
Shot some footage for Joel at his website release party today at Southbrook Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. What an amazing way to get people together to showcase your work... very impressed! Congrats on the website dude! jfhanniganphoto.com/
A little experiment with a tandem bicycle, Ford F150, Canon 5d Mk2 w/ slider, and a beautiful couple! Thanks Nataschia for the steady driving (and amazing photo skills - nwphotoblog.com)!
Pause Eject Rewind, live at the Scene Music Festival in St. Catharines, ON on June 27, 2010. Shot by Mike Enns and Mark Klassen Produced and Edited by Mike Enn
A family outing capturing my son's first year on the rides in Port Dalhousie on Canada Day 2010.
This film was produced for a short film festival. The only requirement was that it use the song "So far away from home" written by Mark Lalama and performed by 'Accordian Crimes'.
This film was produced for a short film festival. The only requirement was that it reference a pipe wrench. We found a video on YouTube of Gary Peterson playing what he describes 'Pipe wrench blues' and used his acoustic accompaniment and the closing scene in the workshop was produced by Gary.
This film was produced for a short film festival. The only requirement was that it be titled 'Proceed at dead slow speed' and be less than 5 minutes in length.
A promo video created for a two-week discipleship training and mission program called SOAR Montréal. After spending a week with the group gathering footage, I edited this piece together.
